The Diamond System Help File provides information and instruction for using Diamond. The Help File contains three (3) tabs on the Navigation Pane:
Contents - The Contents tab contains the Table of Contents for the Help File. Click the book to expand and minimize the topic menu. Click a topic subject to view the page. Use the Browser buttons to navigate to previously viewed pages. You can also use the Print option to print topic pages.
Index - The Index tab provides access to keywords to find Diamond information.
Search - The Search tab allows you to search for the content of your topics and find matches using keywords or phrases.

Screen names are italicized.
Button names are bold.
Instructions are listed in bold and italics.
Notes are presented in blue text.
Green text indicates there is additional information available for viewing; click the text to view the information.

Introduction to the Diamond System - Provides an overview of Diamond functions.
Accessing Client Information - Provides information on finding client information (policies, claims, attachments) and accessing client policies.
Agency Book Transfers - Describes the process used to transfer all of one agency's policies to another agency either using Specific Date, Renewal Date or Anniversary Date.
Attachments - Provides instruction for using the Diamond Attachments function.
Authorities - Presents all authority groups, workflow of the authority and the impact on a user.
Billing - Describes the Billing and Accounting functions available in Diamond and provides instruction. Also included are Cash Adjustments and Billing transactions.
Claims - Describes the Claims functions available in the Diamond and provides instruction.
Company Configuration Tool - Details all the functions for setting up your company, bank accounts, Pay Plans and installments, holidays, reinsurance and Scheduler Runner.
Diamond Administration - Describes set ups of: Additional Interests, Employees, Agencies, Users, Forms, Mobile Home Parks, Hurricane Blackout periods as well as Check Processing (entering, importing, exporting, posting and reconciling agency commission, claims, return premium and suspense account checks).
Diamond Agency Administration - Explains how to establish different default coverage plans on a per agency / company / state / line of business basis. These can then be used for selection as Coverage Plans in Policy Processing.
Diamond Automatic Renewal Processing - Provides setup, process and functionality information for the Automatic Renewal Process.
Diamond End of Period Processing - Explains each function found in End of Day, End of Month and End of Period Processing.
Diamond Reports - Tells you how to set up and access SQL Reports, Create On-Line Reports (used from the Diamond Menu) and how to access the On-Line Reports. It also contains a variety of reports available in Diamond (Base). Report topics include: Billing, Claims, Management, General and Policy Processing.
Diamond System Editor - Explains numerous run-time settings and parameters, what their functions are and how to set them.
Diamond Transport - Allows system and policy information to be extracted and imported from a customer's site.
Diaries and Tasks - Provides instruction for using the Diaries and Tasks function.
Imaging: Contains File Manager. Allows you to receive incoming files (received via fax, Email or mail) that are scanned and saved to folders defined by your company. After a file has been saved to a folder, it is available for review by a user, search for the policy or claim and attach it. When a file is attached, it is then identified by the user.
Notes - Tells users about using the Diamond Notes function.
Policy Processing - This topic contains the following information: Additional Interests, Policy Status Codes, Tiering, Archiving Quotes, Fraud Prevention and the Policy Information screen.
Policy Transactions - Outlines the various Policy Transactions that can be performed in Diamond and provides instruction for performing those transactions. An overview of each transaction is available. This section also includes information on rating and issuing policies.
Third Party Reports: Provides detailed instruction for ordering MVR, CLUE Property and Auto Reports as well as Credit Reports through Choice Point (Lexus Nexus).
