Note: Prior to accessing Admin, you must have the authority, "DiamUI Admin," (Run Executables group).
Admin is where administrative functions take place. Applications contained in Utilities include:
Admin: This contains some of the functions found in Windows Diamond Administration, such as Agency Setup, Audit Personnel, Process General Ledger and Users and Workflow Queues. The functionality and screen layout is the same for both Windows and the Employee Web, and the UIs can be used interchangeably, if needed.
Agency Document Library Management: This allows users to add manuals and / or documents to their Agency Web without assistance from Insuresoft personnel. Types of manuals might include a state's most current Auto Manual, ACORD forms or a state's most current Underwriting Guidelines.
Article Admin: This allows you to add, edit or delete any news articles of interest about your company, such as awards or upcoming events. This information can be displayed on your Web's Home Page.
Configuration: For future use.
Dashboard Admin: This allows you to configure a "customized" template (currently for Claims Personnel) that lets them launch to various work areas from their desktop. Areas that can be added are: Notes, Quick Claim Lookup, Open Tasks, New Claim and Pending Claims. Once the template has been designed and entered, assignment is then made through User Setup on a per user basis.
Change System Date: Allows users to change the system date if necessary.
Check for Composer Updates: For future use.
Clear Workflow Cache: Used to clear out the Static Data and Configuration Data for the Web.
End of Period: End of Period Processing consists of three (3) update programs, which are: End of Day, End of Month and End of Year. The functionality and screen layout is the same for both Windows and the Employee Web, and the UIs can be used interchangeably, if desired.
Portal Configuration:
Renewals: Automatic renewals, renewal offers and renewal underwriting transactions are all processed via Diamond's Automatic Renewal Process. Like End of Period, the functionality and screen layout is the same for both Windows and the Employee Web, and the UIs can be used interchangeably, if needed.
Rule Management: For future use.
System Settings: Allows you to set up different runtime parameters in Diamond. The functionality and screen layout is the same for both Windows and the Employee Web, and the UIs can be used interchangeably.
