Important Note! Prior to use, you must determine what your General Ledger requirements are. These are done on a per implementation basis. Also, you must have the authority, "Process General Ledger," (Diamond Administration group) to access and run this function.
The Process General Ledger function is used to process and send General Ledger information to your 3rd Party accounting software. When used, it should be run after End of Month Processing has completed.
To process your GL information:
From the Diamond Administration Tree View, click Process General Ledger.
Process Through: Enter the month / year you are processing the information; entry format MM/YYYY.
Click Process GL File.
At this point, the Diamond Base System solution produces an XML file with all of the information necessary to process the GL information.
