Calendar
This function has been added to the Task List. It is used to display
a user's tasks and totals for each day. This is extremely useful in managing
a user's workload based on the count of Tasks and also the specific Tasks
due on specific dates. This functionality is used in both the Policy and
Claims Tasks List.
Features
Features include the following:
- Count of Tasks due per date, and a count of all Past Due Tasks
in addition to the Task List.
- The Calendar opens on a Month-View that shows two (2) weeks, beginning
with the current date as determined by the Diamond System Date.
- The Calendar displays the current week plus the following week
regardless of month start / end dates.
- While the number of weeks displayed defaults to two (2), it can
be changed by selecting a different number of weeks from the Week Count combo box.
- The Month Name
is displayed on the left of the screen, directly above the Calendar.
Options to advance, reverse or jump to today's date can be used by
selecting the directional arrows.
- Task Count View Totals (Middle
of Calendar): The count of Tasks due are displayed in
black; zeroes (0) are not displayed. Each date up to and including
the current date also display the count of "Past Due" Tasks.
Past Due Tasks are shown in red;
again, zeroes (0)
are not displayed.
- Task Description View: The
Task Description is shown which also includes the claim or policy
number. If there are more tasks on a day that can be displayed in
the space available, users can select the hyper link, View All Tasks. When this
is selected, the view automatically changes from "Month View"
to "Day View" where the only date displayed on the calendar
is the selected date; all tasks are listed for that day.
- Month View: By selecting
the Month button
in the upper right hand corner of the screen, the user can return
to the number of weeks specified.
- Day Height: Users
can modify the Calendar to show more Tasks per day by changing
the percentage in the Day Height combo box.
- Hide Calendar: Select
to hide the Calendar; the Task List displays. To view the Calendar
again, select the Show Calendar
button on the Task List toolbar. When accessing the Calendar
again, the user's previous selection is retained so they will see
the same view as before.
Other Options
Other options available for use include:
- Search Options: Search
options previously available for the Task List are still available
and all selections apply to the Calendar in addition to the Task List.
- Display of Tasks: This
defaults to the signed on user. If the user has the authority, "View
Others Workflow," (Workflow group), this allows the user to change
the selection of the user / queue displayed.
- Search Options / User Category:
A user can filter the drop down of "Users"
to only show employee users by choosing "Employee" from
the User Category drop down. Selecting a different user or Workflow
Queue automatically refreshes the Task List Grid View and the Task
Counts in the Calendar.
- Search Options / Display for Date
Range: The Task List displays all Tasks due in the selected
date range; however, the selected date range can be modified here.
When a new date range is selected manually, the Task List is refreshed.
Also, when a new date range is selected on the Calendar, the Task
List is also refreshed.
Please Note: Colors displayed
for the Tasks in the Calendar can be changed. Please see Workflow
Types.
