Note: Users must have authorities to add, edit and delete claim payees, claim payee phrases or payee change reason set up.
The Claim Payee menu item contains a sub menu having three (3) topics:
Claim Payee List: The Claim Payee List is used to add individuals or entities, such as law enforcement agencies, auto body shops, etc., which your company frequently does business with into a system held list of payees. Once the information for an individual or entity has been added, it is available through the Claim Payee / Vendor List screen for future claim payments in Diamond's Claim System.
Claim Payee Change Reason Setup: Used to add, edit and delete the generic phrases that are used in the Build Pay To The Order Of functionality on the Claim Transactions screens.
Claim Payee Phrase Setup: Allows you to establish or edit phrases used in the Build Pay to the Order Of screen in the Claims System.
Claim Payee Subtype Setup: Used to identify the different types of payees, such as an adjuster, law firm, body shop, rental car company, etc. Payee Types are also associated with parties added to Diamond from other data capture areas in Claims which also populate the Payee List.
