Note: You must have authority to add, edit and delete a payee change reason (Claim Payee group).
The Claim Payee Change Reason Setup function is used to add, edit and delete the generic phrases that are used in the Build Pay To The Order Of functionality on the Claim Transactions screens (Payee Info screen).
To access the Claim Payee / Claim Payee Change Reason Setup screen:
From the Diamond Administration Tree View, select Claims / Claim Payee / Claim Payee Change Reason Setup.
To add a claim payee phrase:
Click Add from the Claim Payee Change Reason Setup screen.
When the Add Payee Change Reason screen displays, enter the phrase you would like to appear as an option on the Claim Transaction (Payee Info) screen.
The Active field defaults with a check mark, indicating this phrase is an "Active" phrase and can be used. To make the phrase "Inactive," select the field and remove the check mark.
Click Save. The Claim Payee Change Reason Setup screen returns with the phrase added to the list view.
To edit a claim payee change reason:
Highlight the phrase you want to edit in the list view and click Edit from the Claim Payee Change Reason Setup screen.
When the Add Payee Change Reason screen displays, make any changes to the phrase.
Click Save. Answer Yes to the question: "Do you wish to save the changes to this reason?"
The Claim Payee Change Reason Setup screen returns with the edited phrase displayed in the list view.
To delete (make inactive) a claim payee change reason:
Highlight the change reason you want to delete / make inactive in the list view and click Delete on the Claim Payee Phrase Setup screen.
Answer Yes to the question: "Do you wish to disable this change reason?"
The Claim Payee Change Reason Setup screen returns with the phrase removed on the list view.
At the bottom of the Claim Payee Change Reason Setup screen, there are three (3) radio buttons:
All: When selected, displays all phrases including those that are enabled and disabled.
Active: Displays only those phrases that are enabled (active) in Diamond. This is the default when first accessing the screen.
Inactive: Displays only those phrases that are disabled (inactive) in Diamond.
