PPC Import

Note: Prior to use, system settings found in the Integration / ISO / Passport / PPC folder need to be enabled and set up.

Based on ISO's Location PPC database product, this function allows your company to load PPC (Public Protection Class) codes for addresses and zip codes. Once loaded and stored in the Diamond database, your company can then automatically lookup and apply Protection Class Codes for property addresses. The PPC Import can be done as updates are made available via an FTP site by ISO.

• Browse: Select to find the location where the PPC address codes are stored. Highlight the file; click Open. This places the file in the upload field.
• Add: If you wish to load a zip code file, click Add; this opens another upload field. Click Browse to locate the PPC zip code file. Highlight the file; click   Open. This places the file in the upload field.
• Upload: Select to begin the import process. Answer OK to the question: "Uploading PPC data may take several minutes. Please wait for the files to finish. Do you wish to continue?"
• Message from Web Page: "Files have been uploaded to server. Server is now importing data to database. This may take several minutes." Click OK.

When the process completes, a message is returned: "All files have been uploaded." Click OK.
