Attachments

The Attachments node is available on existing agencies. Attaching documents and images to an agency works the same way here as it does when attaching documents and images at the Policy, Client and Claim Level in Diamond.

Attachment Options

To add an attachment:

Browse to the directory in which the document is stored.
Highlight the document to be attached by clicking it once.
Choose the Open button or double click the file to attach the document.
The document displays in the list view.
Click Add.

To delete an Attachment from an agency:

Highlight the attachment.
Click the X (red X).
Answer Yes to the question: "Delete <FILE NAME>?"

The Attachment is removed from the list view.

To rename an Attachment:

Highlight the Attachment by clicking it once.
Select the Rename button.
Enter the new name in the Attachment Name field.
Click once. The name of the Attachment is changed.

When an item is initially attached to a record, the Description field automatically displays "Diamond Attachment." To add or edit an attachment's description:

Highlight the Attachment.
Select the Edit Description button to open the File Description screen.
Enter the text description.
Select OK.

When the spreadsheet returns, the new name appears in the Description field in the list view.

Write Letter function allows you to send form letters to agencies. This Write Letter function integrates with Word ® to produce the letter. The Word template must be set up prior to using the Write Letter function in Diamond.

From the Attachments node, click the Write Letter button.
On the Diamond Document Templates screen, choose Open after creation or Print after creation.
Select the document to customize from the combo box and click OK.
