Order CLUE Property

CLUE Property reports are ordered for a particular risk or property location. The lines of business that support CLUE property reporting are: Personal Home, Dwelling Fire, Commercial Farm, Inland Marine, Umbrella and Watercraft. Once all information has been entered, rating the policy populates the CLUE Property screen with risks / locations and policyholder information listed on the policy.

Process CLUE Property

There are two (2) ways to record CLUE property information:

Process CLUE Property Manually

You can "manually" process CLUE property information. This means that a CLUE property request has been made, but it was not done in Diamond and was not necessarily requested through Lexis Nexis. It basically gives your company a record of the last request that was done outside of the system.

If you are "manually" ordering a CLUE property report, for purposes of documenting this information:

  1. Manual CLUE Submission: Select the field. This places a check mark in it.

  2. Last CLUE Report: Enter the date you "manually" sent the information to CLUE; entry format MM/DD/YYYY.

Process CLUE Property Automatically - Order Requests Immediately (On-Line, Interactive)

To process a CLUE property report on-line:

Order Requests Immediately: This option is "on-line," or "interactive." After highlighting a risk or location in the list view and clicking on Order, the system takes the selected information and transmits it to Lexis Nexis immediately for processing. This is the default selection.

Process CLUE Property Automatically - Queue Requests (Batch Order)

Queue Requests: Using this option automatically places the reports in a "batch" mode for later transmission to Lexis Nexis with other property reports.

Once the number of records has been reached in the Batch Records Count system setting (Diamond System Editor), the batch is transmitted to Choice Point. If any records remain that have not been processed during the day, these records can be transmitted via End of Day Processing by placing a check mark (enable) in the Process CLUE Property function.

Information Returned From Lexis Nexis

If any claim information is returned from Lexis Nexis through either "batch" or "on-line" reporting, that information is displayed on the Loss History screen.
