Sticky Note Functions

Add a Sticky Note

  1. From the Client, Policy Control, or Claim Detail screen, select the Sticky Notes button on the Diamond Main Menu. The New Note screen displays.

  2. The following fields contain system default information: From, Written Date and Attach Level. Enter or select the remaining items:

 

 

  1. Select Save.

Hide a Sticky Note

If one (1) or more Sticky Notes have been added, you may conceal the Note (s) after reading, in order to view information on the Client, Policy Control or Claim Detail screens. When hiding any or all Notes, the Notes will be concealed from view during the current access to a client, policy or claim. The next time that client, policy or claim is accessed, the Sticky Note (s) display.

Move a Sticky Note

Sticky Notes display on the Client and Policy Control screens and may hinder the view of recorded data. Sticky Notes may be moved anywhere on the screen.

 

Print a Sticky Note

  1. Right click the Sticky Note.

  2. Choose Print Note from the options presented. The Print screen displays.

  3. Select the appropriate printer from the Name combo box.

  4. Choose OK.

  5. Choose a drive location to save the sticky Note file on the Save As screen.

  6. The default file format is .PDF. Choose Save.

  7. Access the .PDF file from the designated location to generate a hard copy of the Sticky Note.

Remove Sticky Note

Once a Sticky Note is removed, it is no longer visible on the screen. If it was originally created as a Sticky Note (using the Sticky Note button), the Note is deleted. If the Sticky Note was originally created as a Note and then made a Sticky Note, the Note remains on the Note screen list view.
