Note Types
Note: Prior to
using this feature, the system setting, "Allow Multiple Note Types."
(Notes folder) must be set to "True" (Enable).
Each Note now has a Note Type button
that allows a user to select multiple Note Types. If a Note Type has a
template associated with it, each Note Type's template will be added to
the Note.
Adding Multiple Note Types
When creating or appending a Note:
- Click the Note Type button.
- A list is presented that allows users to select the Note
Type. These can be individually selected by placing a check mark opposite
the type to be included OR
(in rare instances) you can select all of the types listed by placing
a check mark opposite the Type field at the top of the screen.
- Once you have made your selections, click Save.
- When the Note returns, the Note Types selected are displayed
at the top of the screen.
Changing or Removing Note Types
- Click on the Note you wish to make changes to.
- Next, click Append
/ Attach (for a policy) or if it is a claim, click the
pencil
icon next to the note.
- When the Note displays, click the Note
Type button to display the list of Note Types.
- To remove a Note Type, click opposite the field containing
the check mark.
- To add a Note Type, place a check mark opposite the type
to be included.
- Once you have made your selections, click Save.
- When the Note returns, the Note Types selected are again
displayed at the top of the screen.
