Note: Only the sender (originator), the recipient or a user with authority limits may transfer a task to another user.
Use the following procedure to transfer an open task or diary item:
Opposite the task you wish to transfer, place a check mark in the field in the first column on the left.
Click Transfer.
The Transfer screen has the following options:
Toolbar Options
Transfer: Transfers the Task / Diary item.
Close: Exits the Transfer screen.
View Policy: Opens the policy.
Fields
Client Name, Policy Number, Eff. Date, Exp. Date, Description, Added Date, and Time: Default information; cannot be changed.
Transaction Type: Defaults automatically to the Task "type" (e.g., Transfer Pending Task if the policy is "Pending").
Transfer to: User and Queue are available. If User is chosen, select the user from the drop down menu.
User Category Filter: Select so the number of users to transfer to can be filtered. Currently, filtering options include: Employee, Client, Agency and Guest; can be configurable.
Remarks: Optional.
Urgent: Optional.
Enter data in the necessary fields.
Select Transfer.
Answer Yes to the question: "Are you sure you want to transfer this task?"
