Special Notes: Users need the authority, "Purge Contacts," (Sales Center group) to access and run this process.
The system setting, "Purge Contacts Control," (Diamond System Editor: Sales Center folder) needs to be defined. This identifies the name of the Control in the [Sales Center Plugin Assembly Name] that is loaded in Diamond Administration for the Purge Contacts function.
The system setting, "Purge Contacts Lead Days" (Diamond System Editor: Sales Center folder) needs to be defined. This is the number of days that the mailing date must be prior to the System Date for purging.
This process removes all contacts from the system that match the selected status and that have a mailing date less than or equal to the date entered.
To begin purging the contacts:
Purge Date: You can either enter a date or you can use the default date. If using the default date, please note this is the number of days entered in the system setting, "Purge Contacts Lead Days," (Sales Center folder in Diamond System Editor.) The date then defaults to the current System Date minus the number of days specified in the system setting.
Status: Select one (1) from the combo box. Currently, these include: Client, Prospect, Unacceptable or Prospect With Quote (s).
Purge Contacts: Select to begin removing the records based on the specified criteria.
Begin Purging Contacts with a mailing date on or before <Date Specified> with a Status of <Specified Status>? Answer Yes to the question.
As the process starts, the following validations are displayed:
