Cancellation Extension

Note: You will need to set up the following prior to use:

 

  1. Cancellation Extension: Users must have this authority in order to access and use this function. It is in the Diamond Administration group.

  2. "Add Note for Cancellation Extension:" When set to "True," a Note is added to each policy where a cancellation extension has occurred.

 

For existing policies that have a Legal Cancellation Notice, this process is used to extend the time between the date the Legal Cancellation Notice is sent and the Final Cancellation. This is done in real time processing.

 

 

When the process finishes, the system returns a validation indicating the number of policies that have been updated.
