Prior to adding treaty or facultative contracts, reinsurer / broker information needs to be entered. This information is populated in combo boxes within the treaty and facultative contracts.
From the Company Configuration Tool / Reinsurance tree, select Reinsurer / Broker Info:
Click the Reinsurer Company Broker link to return the Edit Name screen.
Select either the Personal or Commercial Name radio button, depending on the entity.
Enter all Name / Address information.
Save to retain the information.
On the Add Reinsurer Company Broker screen:
Company Type: Defaults to N / A; change to either Company or Broker. In the contracts, there are separate combo boxes that are populated with the selection made here.
Active: Defaults with a check; indicates the entity is in force. To "inactivate," click in the field to remove the check.
Save to retain the information.
The company / broker is placed on the Reinsurer / Broker Grid View.
Once a company / broker has been added, you may change or delete the information:
