New Claim Screen

Claim submission is the primary step in starting all claims in the Diamond System. The process begins by completing information on the New Claim screen.

 

 

After completing these entries and choosing OK, the Loss Notice screen automatically displays after validation has passed.

 

Note: If a user attempts to add a new claim that has the same policy number and loss date as one or more existing claims, a message will prompt the user: "Continue adding new claim?" The system will show the user a list of the existing claims to be opened. If the user then clicks on one of the links provided, they will be taken directly to that claim. If they wish to continue adding a new claim, select Continue.
