To add a recovery transaction:
Select the correct Claimant / Feature folder combination on the Claim Tree View.
Select the Transactions folder on the Tree View that corresponds with the Feature / Coverage.
Right click to display a drop down menu and select Add Transaction.
Enter or select the following:
Category: Select the appropriate recovery category from the available items in the combo box.
Type: For a recovery transaction, the valid selection is "Receipt."
Tracking: Select the company specific tracking type.
Amount: Enter the recovery dollar amount.
Transaction Remarks: Enter any comments related to the recovery. Entry in this field is required to process the recovery transaction.
Select the Issue button on the Transaction screen toolbar to process the recovery. Answer Yes to the question: "Issue this transaction?" The recovery transaction is listed on the Claim Tree View and on the corresponding financial totals spreadsheets.
