Weather Analytics is a third party vendor that provides weather intelligence through a globally comprehensive weather database. This interface function allows users to request, view and attach weather reports to a claim. Prior to use, you will need to contact Weather Analytics to secure your API Key.
Before using this process, you will need to enable system settings and grant users authority.
In the Claims / Claim Info / Weather reports folder, set the system settings as shown below.

Automatically Attach Weather Reports |
Used to determine if weather reports will automatically be attached to the claim or not. For multi variable reports, each sub report will also be attached. |

Enable Weather Reports |
Determines if the Weather Reports Toolbar button is enabled or not on Claim Detail. |

For each user needing to request a weather report, you will need to edit their authority:

When selected, the user has the authority to request a weather report. |
Open a claim you wish to order a report for, and highlight the claim number in My Navigator.
The request then goes out in real time to the Weather Analytics service to generate a .PDF weather report based on the claim location, date of loss and report type. When the .PDF is returned, users can select View Report to see the actual weather report.
