Claims ISO Reporting No Claimant Information

Diamond has the ability to validate claimant name and address data as well as License Plate Information. If the claimant name and / or address information is invalid, the claimant will be marked as invalid. The ISO Claim Search (during End of Day) will not report claims that have invalid claimants. This prevents invalid ISO reporting and rejections.

To use this functionality, set up the following system settings as shown.

Validate License Plate against ISO Requirements

This indicates whether or not to validate the License Plate of Claim Vehicles upon Vehicle Save. If invalid, Diamond will provide a warning message but will not prevent the save.

True = The system will validate the License Plate of Claim Vehicles upon Vehicle Save.

Once a claimant's name / address information has been entered, and Save has been selected, the system will return one (1) or all of the following warnings:

In each of these instances, the validation is a warning message only and it does not prevent the claimant from being saved.

Additionally, if a Claim Vehicle License Plate is invalid, the following warning is returned:

Again, the validation is a warning message only and it does not prevent the claimant from being saved or sent.

If a claimant's information turns out to be invalid, the Invalid for ISO Processing field on the Claimant screen will contain a check mark. This is a protected field and cannot be edited by the user. Scrolling over the check box, a tool tip will explain that either the Claimant Name or Address data does not pass ISO requirements. Those claimants having a check mark in this field will not be included in the ISO Claim Search file during End of Day.

Claim Feature / Coverage (On an Incomplete Claimant)

When the only feature / coverage of a claim is on the incomplete claimant, the entire claim will be kept out of the ISO Claim Search file; however, individual features can still be manually waived from reporting to ISO.
