Note: You must have the authority, "Remove Cash," (Billing group) to process this cash adjustment.
The Remove Cash adjustment is a blanket adjustment that allows a user to perform a transaction on converted billing history. This adjustment removes cash from the Accounts Receivable Premium then Miscellaneous Charges followed by Service Charges. The amount being removed can only be the amount of cash up to the total amount received on the policy.
Access the policy having converted billing history.
Select Remove Cash from the Adjustments combo box.
Select the Reason for Adjustment from the combo box.
Enter a dollar amount; entry format 00.00.
Click Accept. The cash is removed from the converted billing record and displayed at the bottom of the Data Grid.
