Add Miscellaneous Charges

Note: You must have the authority, "Add Miscellaneous Charges," (Billing group) to process this cash adjustment.

 

To add a Miscellaneous Charge:

 

  1. Access the policy, and click Billing from the Quick Links Tree View.

  2. On the Statement Display screen, choose Add Miscellaneous Charge from the Adjustment combo box.

  3. Charge Type: Select from one in the combo box.

  4. Click Accept.

 

Fields updated with the dollar amount in Accounts Receivable include: Total Outstanding and Current Miscellaneous Charge Outstanding.
