Suppress Invoices

Note: Users need the authority, "Change Suppress Invoices Flag," (Billing group) to do this transaction.

 

This allows your company the ability to offer their clients a more "personalized" approach for collecting payments rather than receiving automated invoices generated in Diamond. This transaction allows you to set a flag on a policy when the invoices need to be suppressed.

 

  1. Access the policy, and click Billing from the Quick Links Tree View.

  2. Click the Transactions tab at the bottom of the screen.

  3. On the Billing Transaction screen, select Suppress Invoices/

  4. Answer OK to the question: "Change Invoice Suppression Flag?"

  5. Message: "The Change Suppress Invoice Flag transaction processed successfully." Click OK.

 

The system shows a message: "This policy has invoices suppressed."

Of Special Note...

  1. This is enabled on a per customer basis, so prior to use, a script must be run.
  2. When used, this should be set on the "Pending" image of a policy.
  3. This does NOT carry forward to any Rewrite transactions.
