Edit EFT Information

Note: You must have the authority, "Edit EFT Information" (Billing group) to do this transaction.

 

If an insured has an EFT pay plan and EFT information was entered at the time the policy was rated and issued, you may make changes to the EFT information using this billing transaction. This transaction eliminates the need to make changes by processing an Endorsement or making a Pay Plan Change.

 

To edit EFT information:

 

  1. Access the policy, and click Billing from the Quick Links Tree View.

  2. Click Transaction on the Statement Display screen.

  3. From the Transaction Reason combo box, select Edit EFT Information.

  4. Fields that can be changed are:

 

 

  1. After making any edits, click Save. Diamond checks to see if the routing number is valid. If it is not, an error message is returned indicating a valid routing number must be entered. The information is then retained, and the Statement Display screen returns.

 

Once you have edited and saved your information, a line item is added to the Account History screen. Account numbers are not displayed for security reasons.
