Rename Multiple Attachments
Users have the ability to rename multiple attachments at the same time
if they wish. This can be done when a group of files have something in
common. For example, a vehicle has been taken to a repair shop for some
work. Pictures are taken, body work has been done with photos. Rather
than having the attachments individually named, they can be selected and
given one name, for example: Smith's Garage.
- Place a check mark in the Rename column opposite each attachment
you want to rename.
- Rename Selected Files: Click.
- On the Updates Attachments
Name screen, enter the new "group" name of
the files, e.g., Smith's Garage. (Note:
Do NOT include
a filter type at the end of the new name.)
- Click OK.
- The system will then assign the name / sequential number
to each attachment included in the group.
