Note: You must have the following authorities, "Policy Lookup" and "Claim Lookup,"(User Setup: System Group) to access the Quick Lookup (Policy and Claims) screens.
Quick Lookup is displayed in the right hand corner of the Diamond Home Page. By making a selection from the combo box and clicking the magnifying glass, you can access the following client information:

Claims
The Quick (Policy) Lookup screen displays the last policy you accessed. Displayed on the screen is the policy number / policyholder 1's name. If this is not the policy requiring access, use the drop down arrow on the right of the screen to display additional policies. Up to ten (10) policies may be listed when the down arrow is used. Policies listed are displayed with the most recent first and the oldest last. Select a policy number and click OK.
If the policies listed are not the policy needed, enter the policy number and click the OK button.
Is legacy policy number: If this is a "Legacy Policy Number," (defined as a converted renewal policy), enter the legacy policy number and click to place a check mark in this field. The system returns the policy after OK is selected.
Additionally, you can use the Quick (Policy) Lookup screen to look up quotes. Simply enter the quote number and, if the archived image exists, click OK to return the quote.
Note: If the policy selected is "Pending," Diamond displays an information message: "Policy Is Pending New Business By <Name of User>." Select OK to continue.
The Quick (Claim) Lookup option provides access to the Claim Loss Notice screen. It displays the last claim you accessed. Displayed on the screen is the claim number | claimant. If this is not the claim requiring access, use the drop down arrow on the right of the screen to display additional claims. Up to ten (10) claims may be listed when the down arrow is used. Similar to the Policy Lookup, Claims listed are displayed with the most recent first and the oldest last. Select a claim number and click OK.
